There is something beautiful about the beginning of a new year.
For a brief moment, we stand at a threshold between what has been and what is yet to come. Before rushing toward resolutions, goals, and plans, we have an opportunity to pause, breathe, listen, and make space for what truly matters. This retreat is an invitation to step away from the momentum of everyday life and enter the new year with greater clarity, vitality, and intention.
Guided by Seán Johnson, Mitesh Raichada, and Sneha Raichada, this retreat will allow you to navigate this theme through five days of yoga, Ayurveda, meditation, pranayama, contemplative journaling, mantra, kirtan, and deep restorative time at the beautiful Reunion Wellness Resort on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast.
Our days will weave together nourishing yoga and meditation, pranayama, Ayurvedic wisdom, inspiring yoga philosophy and psychology, contemplative journaling, and the heart-opening practices of bhakti. Through mantra, chanting, kirtan, sacred stories, and devotional practices, we’ll explore what it means to open the heart and connect with something larger than ourselves.
We’ll create space to reflect on the year behind us, what it has taught us, what we are ready to release, and what is quietly calling us forward.
And there will be plenty of space between the practices to simply be.
Walk along the beach. Swim in the Pacific. Rest in the sun. Read. Nap. Enjoy a massage. Sit quietly and listen to the waves. Wander the trails. Have a long conversation. Or do absolutely nothing.
Clarity doesn’t always come from trying harder. It arrives when we become quiet enough to listen to the whispers of our intuition.

Listening for What Wants to Emerge
Rather than approaching the new year as an opportunity to become a “better” version of ourselves, we’ll explore a deeper question:
What kind of life wants to emerge through you in the year ahead?
Through yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, contemplative journaling, sacred sound, and bhakti practices, we’ll create space to listen for the answers—not only with the mind, but with the body, breath, and heart.
Reunion Wellness Resort provides a beautiful setting for this kind of pause: an oceanfront sanctuary where the natural rhythms of Costa Rica make it easier to slow down, reconnect, and remember what matters.
Together, we’ll look back with gratitude, release what no longer serves us, open our hearts, reconnect with what gives us life, and step across the threshold of a new year with greater clarity, intention, and possibility.
